Vibrant yellow cube-shaped bluetooth speakers with black circular drivers and subtle branding.

Why we recommend Genelec

We especially love their 44 series speakers, which use PoE (Power over Ethernet) and the Dante Protocol.

What this means for you is that you connect them with a single cable for both power and audio. No messing around with separate power cables or plugging in external amplifiers. Quicker to deploy, less risk of tripping over a cable and fewer fail points.

There’s no meaningful difference in volume compared to the analog version. The Genelecs come in a range of sizes.

Where we've used Genelec

We’ve used these on a whole range of productions, which sadly we can’t tell you too much about for client confidentiality reasons.

What we can say is that they’re a fantastic solution when you need a Voice of God speaker on reality TV, or a playback/music system which delivers for a house style reality show. The setup for these shows often has limited space, which makes running multiple cables for sound and power even more painful than usual. A single cable doing everything is discreet and effective.
