Its modular mainboard accepts up to four plug-in boards—any combination of TX (laser transmitter) and RX (optical receiver) units—enabling tailored configurations from single-channel to fully redundant setups. Key capabilities include real-time clock with backed-up RAM for RF monitoring and service logging, digitally tuned filtering across 400–800 MHz with 25 MHz bandwidth adjustment, automatic RF level management to prevent fibre saturation, and integrated failsafe switching for receiver or transmitter redundancy.
